Stop compensating and start resonating. Example: If you have short legs, mainstream style advice tells you to wear long pant legs to make your legs appear longer. Yet all that accomplishes is highlight that your legs are shorter than your pants, and visually break you in half where your long pants don’t seem to be part of you anymore. Instead, wear your pant legs on the shorter side, and your legs don’t even stand out as anything except perfectly proportional and balanced. Any perceived flaw is the result of wearing wrong proportions – nothing is actually wrong with anyone’s body.

Style is as easy as getting your proportions right. Align teaches you what to look for, so you can recognise your proportions amongst the sea of designs that have nothing to do with you.
Storytelling builds on the shapes and textures you selected for yourself. Feel confident choosing your clothes, and express creativity while knowing you look real, approachable and interesting.
Design is infinite. Even within your Align body type, your options for design and storytelling are still limitless.
The Philosophy
The right clothes will simply make you look good. The wrong clothes can distract the viewer by placing emphasis in the wrong place. Whatever your shape or size, these clothes might make you appear too short, too tall, too skinny or too heavy, top heavy or even asymmetrical. These are all illusions, resulting from dissonant proportions. But the viewer can’t know that. However, when you wear the right proportions in clothes, you’ll look breathtakingly real, just like you are. Nothing gets in the way.
So what makes clothes look balanced? It comes from scale (large or small) and line balance (horizontal or vertical). That creates four dimensions: large horizontal 𝔗, large vertical 𝔛, small horizontal 𝔖 and small vertical 𝔊.
Any shape, whether it is a rectangle, a garment or a human body, can be described by a combination of these four dimensions. Align body types are defined by a primary and a secondary dimension, while tertiary dimensions create a subtype.

- Clothing: t-shirts, blouses & dress shirts, jumpers/sweaters, cardigans, blazers & jackets, trousers/pants, skirts, dresses, outerwear, evening wear. You’ll see many examples for each type of garment, and an explanation what to look for.
- Accessories: shoes, bags, jewellery, glasses, hats
- Styling: hair (divided between type 1, 2 3 and 4 textures) & makeup, including live demo
Align appointments are online and divided over three online calls. This is what’s included :
- The Kickstarter session: online video call of 2 hours
- The Deep-dive session: online video call of 2 hours
- The Q&A session: online video call of 1,5 hours
- A PDF guide that recaps all the important design elements that we discussed during the call, as well as all the images of garments that we’ve discussed.
- A Signature Makeup workbook, with makeup charts and exercises to help build a simple & natural signature makeup look
- Access to a client-only Facebook group specific to your body type

By signing up for Align, you agree to these terms and conditions.
When you book your Align Style Analysis Kickstarter Session, you are required to pay in full, in advance. You will receive links to book your follow up sessions which are part of your package, the Deep Dive Session and Q&A session, after completion of the Kickstarter Session. You are responsible for booking your follow up sessions. Failing to book your follow up session does not make you eligible for a partial, or whole, refund.
The price listed on my website is the current price. I reserve the right to change the price at any moment and without notice.
Rescheduling and cancellations
If you are not able to meet me online at the agreed time, please notify me as soon as you can. We’ll reschedule your appointment at another moment without cost, but please be aware that it might take a number of weeks to find a suitable time. Likewise, if I’m unable to meet you online at the agreed upon time, I’ll notify you as soon as I can, and we’ll reschedule.
Should you decide to cancel your appointment, do so at least 24 hours before the starting time of your Kickstarter Session and I’ll give you a 100% refund. If you cancel less than 24 hours before our appointment, I’ll refund 50% of the total price. Not showing up to your appointment without explanation, will not be refunded.
Cancelling after you’ve received your Kickstarter Session will not result in any refund.
Privacy
Pictures are confidential. I delete them after your analysis is completed. You might want to keep the pictures on file yourself, for future reference. By making an appointment and sending your pictures, you give me permission to use the pictures for your analysis.
